Our refillery section allows users to bring their own containers to be filled up with cupboard essentials like pasta, rices, spices and oats. We have loose frozen foods such as peas, pastries and chips too for you to take home in your own containers.
The shop as evolved a lot since it opened and now also stock natural cleaning products, from Taylor Made refills, a selection of gifts and homewares along with some products for your pooch from Dogrobes.
We have bakery goods from Lilybank Bakehouse and Pheonix Bakehouse over at the coast, Mearns Marmalades, Cover Honey Bee’s, Dani’s Bees, Maison Dieu Coffee, Caber Coffee, and some lovely local dairy products too.
Our beef is extra special and comes from Drumsleed which is 5 miles away towards Auchenblae. Doug produces the highest quality Simmental cattle fed on homegrown grass and barley. He is able to offer us steaks, sausages, burgers, roasting joints, ribs, stewing steak and loads more. We get our pork and lamb from Louise, at Louises Farm Kitchen near Torphins.
Our eggs are also sourced less than 5 miles away at Odmoston farm where Susan and her family have a free range hen, ducks and geese giving us super tasty and super fresh farm eggs.
In 2022 we started offering takeaway food from the shop – this complimented our hot drinks offering well and we added a small seating area to the shop, beside the log burner. We now offering a range of pasties, baked tatties, toasties, sandwiches, pancakes and waffles alongside the traybakes from Lilybank Bakery.
We have a coffee loyalty card which gives you your 10th coffee from free after you purchase 9, as well as a green travel reward card which gives you a free gift when you travel to the shop in a “green” manner 10 times – for example, car share, walk, cycle, or electric car.
